Department of General Biology

The Department of General Biology was established in 1982 with the “Biology Department”. The academic staff, consisting of faculty members specialized in various fields of biology, contributes to education with their undergraduate and graduate courses. The Animal Physiology, Biochemistry, Venom and Experimental Animals Laboratories with modern equipment within the department are contributing to the universal knowledge accumulation with internal and external projects. These laboratories, in which graduate students as well as graduate students have the opportunity to participate in the research, serve to train future scientists in this way.

Subject of study: General Biology, General Ecology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Clinical Biochemistry Enzymology, Enzyme Kinetics, Chromatography, Protein Purification and Sequence Analysis, Experimental Animal Physiology, Physiology, Cytology, Hormonal Systems, Biophysics, Evolution and History of Biology etc. Includes topics.
